<Announcement of the Observation request for RA researchers (for July, 2024)>
We will start accepting the observation request (from July 1 to Aug. 4, 2024) of GOSAT/FTS from the PIs.
For Submission method of Observation Requests, please see "Submission of Observation Requests" on "Documents & Information" page after logging into GDAS.
  *Period for the observation : July 1 (Mon), 2024 through Aug. 4 (Sun), 2024 (UT)
  *Period to accept observation requests : 15:00 Apr. 24 (Wed), 2024 through 14:59 May 15 (Wed), 2024 (UT).

<Closing for the national holidays>
We are closing for the national holidays from 27 Apr. to 29 Apr. and from 3 May to 6 May, 2024 (JST). We will unable to respond to your inquiries and/or accept Authorized User registrations from 6:00 (UT) of the day before the holidays until our start time of the work.
Even while we are closing, following functions are still available for you:
access to information, product downloads, and observation requests by the registered users.
We apologize for any inconvenience that might be causing you during this period.

<To RA users>
"L4A global CH4 flux" and "L4B global CH4 distribution" products have been released to RA users as version 01.08. They are based on version 02.95 & 02.96 FTS SWIR L2 XCH4 data and the WDCGG ground-based observational data etc, and cover 148 months between June 2009 and September 2021.
For the detail, please see "Important Notes at Releasing　V01.08 for RA" in "L4A global CH4 flux / L4B global CH4 distribution" table on "Documents & Information" page after logging into GDAS.
<On stopping the old version L4 CH4 products>
We will stop distributing the old version 01.06 of "L4A global CH4 flux" and "L4B global CH4 distribution" products on 14 May 2024. Since they will be no longer available, please download them by 14 May 2024 if necessary.

<Important notice for the temporally observation stop of TANSO-FTS and CAI for the solar eclipse operation by the Moon>
Due to the solar eclipse operation by the Moon, observations were suspended for the following periods.
  TANSO-FTS:2024/04/08 15:24:17 (UT) - 2024/04/09 05:58:29 (UT)
  TANSO-CAI:2024/04/08 14:58:20 (UT) - 2024/04/09 06:30:27 (UT)
We are sorry to cancel all observations for these periods. Thank you for your understanding for this issue.

Since around 20 on January 22, 2024, users had not connected to GOSAT Data Archive Service due to external DNS failure.
It has been recovered around 11:00 on January 23, 2024.
