We would like to notify you of upcoming outage of GDAS for the system maintenance.
During the following period, all the services provided through GDAS will not be available.

  *You will not be able to access GDAS during this period.

<Resume data delivery of GOSAT/FTS/CAI>
Delivery of GOSAT/CAI data was resumed on April 21 and FTS on April 25, 2025, which had been suspended due to the observation stop related to the Light Load Mode (LLM) transition on March 29, 2025.
FTS data missing period: 2025/3/26 19:30:56UT - 2025/4/25 01:08:18UT
CAI data missing period: 2025/3/26 19:32:29UT - 2025/4/21 02:35:25UT
We are sorry to cancel all observations for this period.

<Closing for the national holidays>
We are closing for the national holidays on 29 Apr. and from 3 May to 6 May, 2025 (JST). We will unable to respond to your inquiries and/or accept Authorized User registrations from 6:00 (UT) of the day before the holidays until our start time of the work.
Even while we are closing, following functions are still available for you:
access to information, product downloads, and observation requests by the registered users.
We apologize for any inconvenience that might be causing you during this period.

<Announcement of the Observation request for RA researchers (for July, 2025)>
We will start accepting the observation request (from July 7 to Aug. 3, 2025) of GOSAT/FTS from the PIs.
For Submission method of Observation Requests, please see "Submission of Observation Requests" on "Documents & Information" page after logging into GDAS.
  *Period for the observation : July 7 (Mon), 2025 through Aug. 3 (Sun), 2025 (UT)
  *Period to accept observation requests : 15:00 Apr. 30 (Wed), 2025 through 14:59 May 21 (Wed), 2025 (UT).

Maintenance Schedule in FY2025 was updated. For the detail, please refer to "Maintenance Schedule" under "News & Topics". Additionally, system maintenance may be changed. In that case, we will notify you separately.

<GOSAT (IBUKI) Temporary Observation Suspension>
Greenhouse gases Observing SATellite (GOSAT) has suspended the observations since 9UTC on March 29, 2025 due to the Light Load Mode (LLM) transition.

Currently, JAXA is investigating the cause of this event while taking necessary measures.

As soon as more information becomes available, NIES will release it on the website.

<GOSAT series product data now available via API on Tellus.>
The satellite data platform "Tellus," operated by Tellus Inc., has started providing GOSAT series product data via API.
Additionally, a dedicated plugin for the open-source software, QGIS, has been released allowing users to access GOSAT series product data.

<To RA users>
"L4A global CO2 flux" and "L4B global CO2 distribution" products have been released to RA users as version 02.10. They are based on version 02.97 & 02.98 FTS SWIR L2 XCO2 data and the GLOBALVIEW surface-based CO2 data and cover 161 months between June 2009 and October 2022.
For the detail, please see "Important Notes at Releasing V02.10 for RA" in "L4A global CO2 flux / L4B global CO2 distribution" table on "Documents & Information" page after logging into GDAS.

<On stopping the old version L4 CO2 products>
We will stop distributing the old version 02.08 of "L4A global CO2 flux" and "L4B global CO2 distribution" products on 20 Apr. 2025. Since they will be no longer available, please download them by 20 Apr. 2025 if necessary.
